MGF proteins are classified into 31 groups based on sequence homology. Three, nine, three, eleven and five protein groups were obtained in MGF-100, MGF-110, MGF-300, MGF-360 and MGF-505 families, respectively. This server provides a user-friendly interface for classifying MGF proteins into groups based on MGF protein sequences.

NEWS:
  • 2019-12-10, the MGFC is online! Cheers!
  • 2020-8-9, the Map Statistics and Browse sections are added;
  • 2021-6-16, All MGF proteins from 94 ASFV genomes were then grouped based on sequence homology and network clustering using OrthoFinder (version 2.2.7) with default parameters, resulting in a total of 33 protein groups. The grouping of 3 MGF families has changed than the previous result. Specifically, MGF-360 and MGF-505 increased by 1 and 3 groups respectively, while MGF-110 decreased by 2 groups.
